New Update: 1.2 Beta 2.1

Released binary installation.

Updates: You can browse albums by clicking album names in 'Artists' folder of media library, quick searching for media library (just type the name.. erase.. you're free to do anything), updated tag editing features of the 'Ripping' window, automatic (re)installation and such...

Bug Fixes: There were some bugs in FLAC codec plug-in, visualization system.

Video Support!

Video playback is nearly finished for files (there are some things left like: DVD menus, CSS...), currently supports SubRip subtitles, DirectX/OpenGL video output, on screen display (OSD)...

There'd be lot of memory leaks and crashes, I'll upload a test version with video support soon. Please don't expect everything from it guys (specially from the OpenGL output), I hope those bugs won't appear on normal video playback.

Video Support!

Currently I'm testing and implementing video support to the player (using FFmpeg). It's working cool right now but there are some quality issues (synchronizing and rendering).

There'd be an update soon, but it would rather be a test version.

Found some bugs on the February 08th release and fixed them. Some of they were in ripping window and FLAC plug-in, you'll find it anyway... I'll upload the new package as soon as I'm done with packaging stuff.

Welcome to Fennec player! Fennec player is a universal media player which mainly focuses on high definition audio/video playback and transcoding, it can play and convert into almost every audio/video file format available (see the list below). It supports converting/ripping/joining and playback, including features like headphone preview, easy tag editing, file name formatting, channel separated equalizations, DSP effects, volume/gain control and equalization for conversion and so. It's designed to be fast, compatible and easy to use - with 64bit floating point internal precision for audio. Fennec player is released under GNU General Public License, so you can read/modify source codes and contribute your support to the project freely (for more information, see help documentation).

• "Audio" - This format to any audio format is possible, video conversion is in development.
• "Soon" - Plug-in is still in development.
• "-" - Not applicable (for example: converting from Wave to MIDI)
• Raw audio files - Raw data (audio samples without headers etc.), you need to select sampling rate/channel count... before playing a file.
• Converting from module files (.mid, rmi...) to audio is possible but the reverse is not possible; consequently, the encoding column of module files are set to "-".
